I have been painting now for over thirty years. Most of that time have been developing my own unique approach to expressing myself. I never really catered to what was popular but focused on painting what I like as far as subject matter . My influences are wide and varied I learned to paint like the Old masters and I have combined that with a low brow approach a twist of surrealism a bit of California album and concert poster design and pop art influences. I consider my art an outlaw approach Because it just does not fit in with anyone genre. It is only now within the last three years that I am finally getting some recognition and picking up commission work .
